A is for Adventure

The holiday season is in full swing and so is the filmmaking here at Serac. Michael and Dave are packing their bags and heading to Africa in a few weeks. They are working on a project called "3 Peaks 3 Weeks." Ten women from all over the world will try to climb the three tallest peaks on the continent in just 21 days. Hopefully the Serac team comes back with great footage, a great story and a tan.

The rest of us are holding down the fort in Boulder. We've been staying busy with film festivals, screenings and most recently, snow! Our award-winning film "Light of the Himalaya" is scheduled for a 6 o'clock screening at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden, CO tonight. We are hoping for a big turnout so don't let the snow slow you down!

In other news, we might be switching snow gear for red carpet clothing. Our film "Blindsight" is on the short list for an Oscar this year. The Academy will announce nominees on January 23rd so keep your fingers crossed!

Big changes are in store for Serac Adventure Films, we'll keep you posted!
